Acoustic ICF resonators are designed to work by driving small amounts of energy into a sphere over a large number of cycles. Impulse’s Spherical Resonator consists of a high-pressure steel spherical shell filled with a liquid and activated by acoustic drivers on the exterior of the sphere. The critical feature in the resonator design is its ability to drive cavitation at high ambient pressures. This resonator is unique because of the novel and proprietary way it generates and confines cavitating bubbles. It is capable of being pressurized to more than a thousand atmospheres.
The Impulse Devices Resonator is available for lease or purchase in limited circumstances. Please use our Contact form for further information.
